Team members should register themselves (or be registered by their Captain) online, noting their affiliation for the purposes of payment (see “Payment Procedures” below).
$20 – Student registration fee
$30 – Non-student registration fee
$15 – Late registration fee (in addition to registration fee)
Registration fees permit competitors to enter an unlimited number of dances subject to level eligibility. Registration fees include free admission to the event area.
January 20, 2008 – Online registration opens (12:01 a.m.)
February 18, 2008 – Deadline for registration and payment without late fee (11:59 p.m.)
February 18, 2008 – Online registration closes (11:59 p.m.)

Anyone who does not register by the registration deadline should email the Competition Coordinator directly at competition@ucbd.org.
Anyone who pays their registration fee by February 18 deadline (see “Payment Procedures”), but who does not register online by the deadline, will need to pay the late registration fee at the competition before they can compete.
Anyone who registers online by February 18 deadline, but does not pay their registration fee by the deadline, will need to pay both regular and late registration fees at the competition before they can compete. Please do not make any payments after February 18.
Competitors registering by the deadline will have the ability to modify their events (without penalty) until online registration closes on February 18. All further modifications must be done on the day of competition, if permitted.
Competitors may drop events on the day of the competition without paying any additional fees. Competitors may add events on the day of the competition without paying any additional fees. However, competitors may only add events if doing so does not change the number of heats, and shall be subject to the discretion of the Chairperson of the Judges.

If you are paying for more than one competitor, we encourage you to do it with as few transactions as possible to reduce our processing fees. To pay for more than one competitor at once, change the quantity to match the number of competitors you are paying for and make sure to list the names of those competitors when submitting the transaction.
Online payment must be completed by February 18, 2008 or a late fee will be due on the day of the competition.

Please ensure that the competitor's name is indicated on the check. If you are paying for multiple people, please include a list of names and amounts paid with your payment submission.
Payments must be postmarked by February 18, 2008 or a late fee will be due on the day of the competition.
If your team intends to pay for all participating team members, please make sure to make arrangements with Competition Coordinator in advance (no later than February 11).
Unless prior arrangements are made with the Competition Coordinator, failure to submit fees by the deadline will incur the late registration fee. Anyone who does not submit fees by the deadline, should pay both regular and late registration fees at the competition.
Registration fees will be refunded if the refund request is received before February 18. To request a refund, please send an email to the Competition Coordinator at competition@ucbd.org. After the deadline, only those who have a documented illness or injury that prevents participation in the competition will be able to receive a refund of their registration fees (subject to verification by the Competition Coordinator).
Registration for all Night Club dances will be available on the day of competition. All registered competitors may enter any number of Night Club events free of charge. Spectators may enter any number of Night Club events just for $15 per person.
Formation teams wishing to enter the Formation Team event should register by sending an email to the Competition Coordinator at competition@ucbd.org. The email should clearly indicate:
Coach’s/Contact’s name
Coach’s/Contact’s phone
Team/Studio
Name of formation routine
List of the first and last names of all leaders and followers
Please also indicate which of the leaders and/or followers (if any) will also be competing in other events.
For scheduling purposes, all formation teams should notify the Competition Coordinator as early as possible of their intention to compete.
All formation teams must register by the online registration deadline of February 18.
Formation teams must submit competition fees by the postmark deadline of February 18 (see procedure outlined in “Individual Competitor Registration”). Formation team competitors who are not dancing in any of the individual events should pay a formation team only entry fee of $10 on the day of the competition.
